Our Story

Pawterre began with a simple frustration: why is it so hard to find a pet bed that doesn't look like an afterthought? As lifelong pet owners, we wanted beds that our dogs and cats would love curling up in, but that we'd also be happy to see in the middle of our living rooms. When we couldn't find what we were looking for, we decided to make it ourselves.

We spent over a year researching materials, testing prototypes with real pets (our own included), and refining designs until we found the perfect balance: beds that are soft and supportive enough for daily naps, durable enough to survive enthusiastic diggers, and stylish enough to belong in a thoughtfully decorated home.

Today, Pawterre serves pet parents across Europe and South America — two regions where family, home, and pets are deeply intertwined. Whether you're in a Parisian apartment, a São Paulo townhouse, or a countryside cottage in Bavaria, we design for the way you actually live with your pets.
